Are your students ready to explore and learn 3D shapes and Kindergarten geometry? This 3D shape unit was designed to give you everything you need to teach a comprehensive, developmentally-appropriate kindergarten 3-D shapes math unit.
Students will learn to identify 5 3D shapes (sphere, cube, cone, cylinder, and rectangular prism). They will also learn to compose 3D shapes, compose structures using 3D shapes, and recognize real world 3D shapes.
These units were developed to be taught whole group but would also work well in a small group setting. The teacher will be guiding the students in an I do, We do, You do model.
