Who is Letter Lion? Letter Lion was originally the mascot of the Empowering Little Readers Pre-K Phonics Curriculum. However, so many PreK and kinder teachers have come to love Letter Lion that he has begun showing up everywhere!
These Alphabet Home Links can be used regardless of whether you use Letter Lion in your classroom, but if you would like to add in Letter Lion to your phonics instruction, a poster version is included.
How to use:
Parents and students will review the letter, letter sound, mouth formation, and key image. Then, students will trace the letter and draw something that begins with that letter.
