These April 1st grade morning bins are the perfect way to build academics, fine motor work, social skills, and PLAY into your morning routine! This set includes 18 different literacy, math, and fine motor activities for your first grade students. While I created these for morning work tubs, they would also be PERFECT for April literacy and math centers, early finisher activities, or some quiet exploration time.

How can I manage these centers?

There are 18 centers included, but many include multiple options and could easily be used in more than one tub! I know teachers who have had one tub per table, teachers who have paired up their students, and teachers who had one tub per student. Whatever works best for you and your students!

Will I need to buy a lot of materials?

No! I tried to create these with materials in mind that you already have in your classroom, but you could EASILY swap out my suggestion for something you already have! That’s also a great way to make these centers new again – just add new manipulatives!

Did you include black and white versions?

I tried to include a black and white version for most activities, however for some it just did not make sense (for example, real photographs that you can print in gray scale) or color-based activities.
