How to use the CVC words successive blending cards:
–Students will read each line, adding on one sound per line.
–Optional: students can reread the word for fluency.
–Students will then choose the picture that matches the word they read.
Use these successive blending cards as a small group warm up activity or as a literacy center. Students can use clothespins to clip or counters to cover the matching picture.
