• Search and Color: Students will search for the cards and color the matching letter or sound their recording sheet. Skills: alphabet, beginning sounds, short vowel sounds, long vowel sounds
• Catching Words: Students will search for the cards and color the matching word or sound. Skills: beginning sounds, CVC words, beginning blends
• Real or Nonsense Students will search for the cards and decide if they are real or nonsense. Skills: CVC words, digraphs, CVCe words
• Reading Sentences: Students read the sentence and color the matching picture. Skills: CVC words, digraphs
• Surfing for Words: Students will search for the cards and fill in the missing sounds on their recording sheet. Skills: cvc words
• Read and Draw: Students will search for the cards. They will read the word and draw a picture to match. Skills: CVC words, digraphs, beginning blends, CVCe words
