This unit will culminate in a research project – you get to decide if you will only do the class research project or if students will complete a research project individually/as partners.
Can I use this writing unit in 1st grade?
Yes! This unit would also work perfectly in a 1st grade writer’s workshop wince all students are writing at their own levels. It also includes an editable rubric.
