I don’t know about you, but every year I feel like I’m scrambling to come up with Mother’s Day gift ideas for my students. I always want to change it up! This year is even more difficult because of distance learning. I wanted to give you a few Mother’s Day crafts and activities you can do at home or save for next year, and a directed drawing you can do during a video class!
Mother’s Day Craft
For this craft, students will write about why they love their mom or another significant person in their life. They will make the Mother’s Day craft and assemble it into a flipbook.
I have included covers for mom, aunt, grandma, and an editable cover so you can type what you want!
Grab this free craft here.
Some of my free Valentines Day crafts would be perfect as Mother’s Day crafts as well! Find them here.
All About My Mom Writing
For this Mother’s Day book, students will fill in the blanks to tell all about their moms. This one is guaranteed to be something she’ll treasure for years!
This book also has covers for aunt, grandma, and an editable cover for you to choose the name.
Grab the book here.
Mother’s Day Directed Drawing
This Mother’s Day directed drawing is the perfect no prep craft you can do even during online distance learning!
I have visual directions you can follow to model for your students or that you can post for them to follow by themselves.
Grab the Mother’s Day directed drawing directions here.
I hope you all have a great Mother’s Day!
Kari

I’m not quite sure how you did the writing with the “I love my mom because” activity. Is there a writing paper that goes along with this cute activity?
