Happy Virtual Teacher Appreciation Week day 4! Today I have some fun pirate activities that would be perfect for kindergarten or first grade.
Pirate Directed Drawing
Would it be a teacher appreciation post without a directed drawing? I don’t think so! This pirate is so cute and easy to personalize!
Directed drawings are an easy way to practice listening skills and build fine motor muscles.
Grab the directed drawing directions here.
Free Pirate Printables
These pirate activities would fit in great with a pirate day or pirate week.
You can read about pirates and create an anchor chart of information. Then, students can fill out this Pirates Can, Have, Are page.
This pirate labeling page is a great way to practice reading through the whole word.
Find this pirate activity here.
Pirate Interactive Reader
This pirate interactive reader is another great way to practice using beginning sounds or looking all the way through the word. Students will read the simple sentence and then glue on the missing word.
These interactive readers are the same style as my CVC word interactive readers, so if your students have used those before they will already be familiar!
Grab all the pirate printables here.
I hope you’re having a great teacher appreciation week! Be sure to stop by tomorrow for our last day of freebies!
