All About Germs Book
Germs vs. Soap is my new favorite book for teaching students all about germs and how to wash their hands the right way!
This book is full of bright pictures that will keep students entertained, and it does a great job explaining how to wash your hands:
You can grab the book for yourself here.
How To Wash Your Hands Posters
You can use these hand washing posters to teach students how to wash their hands and then hang them up in your bathroom! I love the bright colors and simple design.
These handwashing posters would go perfectly with these free hand washing and germs activities.
Washing Away Germs Activity
When you wash your hands, you should count to 20 slowly as you scrub scrub scrub to get rid of all the germs! Seems simple enough, but how many times have our students raced through washing their hands?
They can practice counting with this fun germ activity! Students can dab or color a germ as they slowly count to 20.
Healthy Habits during COVID Book
This emergent reader will help students identify ways to stay healthy during COVID. Two levels are included.
How to Wear a Mask Activity
If you talk to your students about how to wear a mask the right way, this mask activity would be a great follow up! Students will illustrate themselves. Then, they will cut out a mask and glue it on making sure to cover their nose and mouth.
