Are you ready to build strong readers? Kindergarten decodable readers are a must! These beginning blends decodable readers will give your students experience decoding words with beginning blends in high interest texts. This set includes r blends, l blends, and s blends.

I tried to include mostly CCVC words in this set, but that was not always possible.

18 books are included in this set.

This is the LEVEL ONE set. Level one means that each book features simple sentences that are sight word-heavy. They are usually patterned, but not always. This level of phonics decodable readers is perfect for beginning readers at a level C+.

These decodable emergent readers are meant for easy print and go prep. Instructions are included for printing double sided. Just print, fold, staple and go – no cutting required!

Use these decodable books whole group during your phonics instruction, in small group guided reading, or send home for extra practice.
