Cover by Code: Students will cover each spot according to the code.

Cover It Mats: Students will cover the answer in each box.
- Skills: beginning blends, long vowel sounds
Spin and Stack: Students will spin a word and stack a cube in that box. The first word to get 10 cubes wins.
- Skills: beginning blends, CVCe words
Race to Fill: For these phonics partner games, students will take turns spinning and covering a match on their side. The first player to fill their side wins.
- Skills: CVCe words, vowel teams
Spin and Color: Students will spin the spinner and color a matching picture on their recording sheet.
- Skills: beginning blends, long vowels, r-controlled vowels
Roll and Color Pocket Dice Center: Students will roll a sound or a word and color the matching picture on their recording sheet.
- Skills: beginning blends, CVCe words
Race Up the Burrow: For these phonics games, students will spin a letter or picture and then move their game piece up the ladder to that letter or word. The first side to reach the top wins.
- Skills: dge/tch, ending blends, CVCe words
Spin and Map: Students will spin a letter or word, map it, and write it.
- Skills: beginning blends, digraphs, CVCe words
Roll and Cover: Can be played as partner games or independently. Students will roll a die and cover the matching word on their mat.
