Holidays All Year Kindergarten & 1st Grade Social Studies Lessons GROWING Unit

More about this resource...

Hands-on and engaging social studies lessons have never been easier! The Empowering Little Citizens Kindergarten and First Grade Social Studies Unit: Holidays All Year includes grab and go lessons to teach holidays, celebrations, and traditions all year long.

This is a GROWING unit! Each holiday will be added at least 30 days before you need it. All holidays will be added before winter break so you can prep for the new semester.

SAVE BIG and get this social studies unit in the Kindergarten and First Grade Social Studies Curriculum for the year!

How does this unit work? This unit is a little different than the other units in the ELC Social Studies Curriculum. The lessons are “grab and go” style so you can pull a single holiday and teach. The lessons will focus on the history and traditions of each holiday.

Please note: This unit does NOT include Christmas as that will be covered in the ELC Holidays Around the World unit. Please see the holidays covered below.

If there is a holiday not included that you would like to see covered, please email me at [email protected]. I cannot guarantee that it will be added, but I will do my best.

What is included in this unit:

• Full lesson plans
• original nonfiction books
• social studies digital teaching slides for PowerPoint™ and Google Slides™
• social studies worksheets differentiated for Kindergarten and first grade
• vocabulary cards
• hands-on activities included picture sorts, crafts, write the room and more!
