These Science of Reading literacy centers are 100% aligned with my Science of Reading Guided Curriculum and will follow that same scope and sequence. However, you do not have to use the Science of Reading Guided Curriculum in order to use these Science of Reading centers.

What partner games will be included? Each phonics skill-based pack will include at least 11 Science of Reading partner games including:

Predictable centers mean less work for you! These Science of Reading partner games are predictable centers. That means that the gameboards stay the same throughout each skill pack, so students always know what to do.

This also makes differentiation easy! Students can be playing the same game while working on different phonics skills.

What supplies will I need? I tried to keep these Science of Reading gameboards as simple as possible. You will need:

  • Dice
  • Cubes or counters
  • Spinners
  • Game pieces (cubes or mini-erasers will work well)

How can I use these Science of Reading centers work for? These partner games are versatile! Use the Science of Reading gameboards as literacy centers, partner practice during your phonics lesson, or as small group games and intervention activities.
