Subitizing is the perfect way to help students build number sense and see numbers in different ways! Both activities included would be great as centers or in small groups. Subitizing Station – Students will roll a die and cover those dots with their counter. To make it a game, give each student different color counters.
Use a numbered die to practice matching numerals to dots or a dot die to practice matching quantities. Domino Draw – Students will draw a domino card and cover that number with their counter. 2 versions are included – 0-6 and 0-10 for differentiation.
