I love celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in the classroom because it is just so much fun! These St. Patrick’s Day activities are perfect for creating a week of fun in kindergarten or 1st grade!
I Am Lucky Craft and Writing
This St. Patrick’s Day craft was a last minute idea and I am completely in love with how it turned out! We read “Pete the Cat: The Great Leprechaun Chase” and then discussed why we are lucky.
Students then wrote about why they were lucky and created their pots of gold and rainbows! They turned out great:

ROY G BIV Craft
Since we are learning about weather in science, I love to use our All About Rainbows unit as we complete our St. Patrick’s Day activities! This ROY G BIV craft is from that unit. Students love seeing his rainbow hair!
