1. Hang up the math center cards around the room
2. Students will grab a recording sheet and a clipboard
3. They will search the room for the cards
4. When they find a card, they will color or write the answer on their recording sheet

February Write the Room Math Centers:

• Penguin Numbers: Students will search for the cards. They will color or write the matching number. Skills: ten frames to 20, base ten
• Groundhog 3D Shapes: Students will search for the cards. They will color the matching shape. Skills: 3D shapes
• Addition: Students will search for the cards and count the shapes. Skills: counting, addition
• I Know Numbers: Students will search for the cards. They will write the number and then count on or count back. Skills: counting on, counting back
• Comparing Numbers: Students will write the numbers and compare. Skills: more, less
• Graph the Room: Students will search for the picture cards. They will count the amount and fill in the graph the match. Skills: Counting, graphing, analyzing data
