How to use the Write the Room Math Centers:
- Hang up the math center cards around the room
- Students will grab a recording sheet and a clipboard
- They will search the room for the cards
- When they find a card, they will color or write the answer on their recording sheet

August Write the Room Math Centers:
- Crayon Box Ten Frames: Students will search for the ten frame cards. They will either fill in their ten frame to match, or write the number.
- Backpack Five Frames: Students will search for the five frame cards and either fill in their five frames to match or write the number.
- Subitizing Practice: Students will search for the subitizing cards and color the matching set.
- Counting to 5: Students will search for the lunchbox cards. They will count the set within 5 and then color the matching number.
- 2D Shapes: Students will search for the shape cards. They will color the matching 2D shape on their recording sheet.
- Graph the Room: Students will search for the picture cards. They will count the amount and fill in the graph the match. Includes numbers to 5 or 10.
September Write the Room Math Centers:
- Apple Shapes: Students will search for the apple basket cards. They will color the matching 2D shape on their recording sheet.
- Bubble Gum Bear Number Sense: Students will search for the number cards. They will color the gumball with the matching number and with the matching subitizing picture.
- Apple Ten Frames: Students will search for the ten frame cards and count the seeds. They will either fill in the ten frames to match or write the amount.
- Subitizing to 10: Students will search for the dice cards. They will count the apples and either fill in the ten frames to match or write the amount.
- Number Sense Paint: Students will search for the number sense cards. They will write the matching number on their recording sheet.
- Graph the Room: Students will search for the picture cards. They will count the amount and fill in the graph the match. Includes numbers to 5 or 10.
