How to use the September Write the Room Math Centers:

1. Hang up the math center cards around the room
2. Students will grab a recording sheet and a clipboard
3. They will search the room for the cards
4. When they find a card, they will color or write the answer on their recording sheet

September Write the Room Math Centers:

• Apple Shapes: Students will search for the apple basket cards. They will color the matching 2D shape on their recording sheet.
• Bubble Gum Bear Number Sense: Students will search for the number cards. They will color the gumball with the matching number and with the matching subitizing picture.
• Apple Ten Frames: Students will search for the ten frame cards and count the seeds. They will either fill in the ten frames to match or write the amount.
• Subitizing to 10: Students will search for the dice cards. They will count the apples and either fill in the ten frames to match or write the amount.
• Number Sense Paint: Students will search for the number sense cards. They will write the matching number on their recording sheet.
• Graph the Room: Students will search for the picture cards. They will count the amount and fill in the graph the match. Includes numbers to 5 or 10.
