Ready to transform your math block? The Little Mathematicians Kindergarten Math Curriculum has everything you need to make math fun and meaningful! These kindergarten math units for the year are the perfect way to help your students explore math concepts in a hands-on way. Everything you need to teach an engaging guided math unit is included here!

Each kindergarten math unit was developed to be taught whole group but would also work well in a small group setting. The teacher will be guiding the students in an gradual release model.

 

Differentiation options are included! Each lesson includes options to scaffold or challenge as needed.

 

⭐️ These units are getting a HUGE updated to include: posters, math word wall cards, and math centers. The first five units have been updated already. The rest will be updated soon!

Posters & Math Word Wall Cards – These are being added in the update and are currently included in the updated units.

 

Warm Up – engaging whole body counting activities

 

Whole Group Activity – the teacher will direct students in a mini-lesson about the topic

 

Partner Activity – students will work in pairs to play a game or complete an extension activity

 

Independent Follow Up – students will apply what they learned whole group to an independent paper activity.

 

Home Extension – students can practice even more at home with a short practice page.
